Mr. William Titus Kiser, age 73, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, entered into rest, Saturday morning, September 14, 2019, at St. Claire Healthcare Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born January 30, 1946, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Harvey Kiser Sr. and Anna Fultz Kiser.
William proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Globe Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, being at home and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Allen Kiser and one sister and three brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Jack Rodgers, Richard Lee Patterson, and William Thomas “Buster” Hall.
William is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gwendolyn Hope Tackett Kiser; one son, William David Kiser (Missy) of Springfield, Georgia; three daughters, Shane Kase of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Jessica Trifonov (Anton) of Guyon, Georgia, and Mary Ann Kiser of Athen, Alabama; four grandchildren, Anna Kiser of Springfield, Georgia, Samantha Grooms and Chad Kase of Jasper, Alabama, and Chase Diggers of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phillip Guy Kiser (Connie) and Wayne Kiser (Margaret), all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters, Wilma Jean Hall of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Gloria Bevilacqua (Allen) of Grayson, Kentucky; and one sister-in-law, Jenny Cecil Kiser of Olive Hill, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Globe Christian Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Pastor David Rayburn officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the Olive Hill American Legion Post #138 following the service.
