Bobby Lee Binion, age 80, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday morning, July 9, 2019, at his residence.
He was born February 22, 1939, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Ora and Clara Barker Binion.
Bobby was of the Pentecostal faith and worked as a pipeliner for local union #798. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Beverly Walker Binion; one son, Bobby Lee Binion; two grandchildren, Daniel Moore II and Ashley Binion; and one brother, Millard Binion.
Bobby is survived by one son, James Lee Binion (Polly) of Warren, Ohio; four daughters, Sally Walker of Niles, Ohio, Cindy Binion of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Kimberly Ashley (Tim) of Norman, Arkansas, and Karen Binion (Rick) of Parma, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Binion (Shirley) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and one sister, Susie Lohr (Chuck) of Zepher Hills, Florida. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Marcus McCleese officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Bill Binion, James Binion, Christopher Binion, James Carroll, Donald Jones, and Richard Haines will serve as pallbearers.
